AutoScribe uses Azure Whisper AI for fast, accurate transcription in 50+ languages. Drafts are saved automatically if you navigate away.
Workspaces are domain-specific contexts that shape how the AI formats your output. Built-in workspaces include: Medical (SOAP notes with Subjective/Objective/Assessment/Plan), Sales (BANT Discovery, MEDDPICC), Legal (Deposition, Contract Review), Real Estate (Walk-through reports), Education (Lecture notes), and more. Each workspace has dedicated AI templates you can clone and fully customize.
After AI notes are generated, every section has an Inline AI Action Bar. Click chips to instantly Rewrite, Expand, Summarize, Clarify, make text more Formal/Executive, or Translate to English/German. You can also use the Session Q&A Chat panel to ask natural language questions about any session's content — powered by AutoScribe with full transcript context.
Train AutoScribe on domain-specific terminology: medical acronyms (COPD, ECG, PRN), legal citations, SaaS jargon (ARR, MRR, NPS), or regional product names. Add custom vocabulary under Profile → Workspace Customization. These terms are injected into the transcription context to achieve near-perfect accuracy for your domain.
On the session detail page, use Export PDF to generate a print-ready document with your session title, workspace, AI-structured notes, and an AutoScribe footer. You can also Copy Markdown to paste into Notion, Confluence, or any markdown editor. The Share via Email option opens your mail client with a pre-formatted body.
Lost your connection mid-recording? No problem. Audio chunks are saved locally and will automatically re-submit once you reconnect. Sessions appear with a Draft badge until processing is complete. The mobile app supports full background recording — you can lock your phone and walk around during long consultations.
All transcripts, AI outputs, and user data are encrypted using AES-256-GCM both in transit and at rest. AutoScribe is 100% GDPR and HIPAA compliant. We guarantee: zero data selling, zero third-party ad tracking, zero AI model training on your private data. Raw audio recordings are automatically purged after processing. You can delete your full account and all associated data at any time from Profile settings.

Recording & Audio
Go to New Note and tap the microphone button to start recording. Speak clearly and AutoScribe will transcribe your speech in real-time.
You can upload MP3, WAV, MP4, and WEBM files directly into the app for AI processing.
Your recording is saved as a Draft locally. When your connection is restored, the transcript is automatically submitted to the AI.
Yes, you can pause and resume your recording as many times as needed during a session without creating separate notes.
Recordings can be up to several hours long, depending on your available tier minutes and device storage. Long recordings are processed in chunks automatically.

Templates define the AI system prompt and output sections for each workspace. You can clone any system template and customize the name, description, section schema, and AI prompt under the Templates page.
Yes. Every generated section is a live editable text area. You can type directly to correct or expand the AI output.
Yes! Every session has an inline AI Q&A Chat panel. You can ask natural language questions and the AI will respond using the full session transcript as context.
Yes. Open any session and click 'Run AI Processing / Change Template'. You can select a different template and regenerate the AI notes at any time.
You can add custom terms, acronyms, and names under Profile settings. These are injected into the transcription context to drastically improve accuracy for specialized jargon.
Yes. On the session detail page, you can export a print-ready PDF, copy the full note as Markdown, or share via email.
Privacy & Security
Yes. All data is encrypted using AES-256-GCM in transit and at rest. AutoScribe is HIPAA and GDPR compliant.
No. We strictly guarantee zero AI model training on your private transcripts. Your data remains entirely yours.
Raw audio recordings are automatically purged after the AI processing is fully completed to ensure maximum privacy.
Yes. AutoScribe is built for HIPAA-compliant medical documentation. The Medical workspace generates structured SOAP notes directly from live consultation audio.
Billing & Usage
Usage is measured in transcription minutes, calculated from the actual audio duration submitted. AI note generation and Q&A chat are counted separately in token cost.
Every account receives free transcription minutes per month. Minutes reset on the 1st of each month. No credit card is required to get started.
You will need to upgrade to a paid Pro or Enterprise tier to continue recording or uploading audio files. You can always access your existing notes.
Yes, you can cancel or modify your subscription at any time from your Profile Settings. Changes take effect at the end of the billing cycle.
