AutoScribe operates under a strict Zero Data-Monetization and Zero-Knowledge Architecture. We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data or recorded content to any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
2. GDPR & HIPAA Compliance Details
AutoScribe is engineered for high-consequence verticals including medical clinics, B2B sales teams, law firms, and academic institutions. Our technical safeguards adhere strictly to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). All recorded audio and generated notes are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and in transit via TLS 1.3. For clinical and legal accounts, raw audio files are automatically purged following AI note synthesis.
3. Zero AI Foundation Model Training
We explicitly guarantee that your personal dialogue, medical consultations, sales meetings, and legal transcripts are NEVER used to train, fine-tune, or evaluate public AI foundation models.
4. Cookies & Local Storage
AutoScribe strictly uses essential, first-party cookies and local storage to provide core application features: secure session authentication, your preferred interface language, your chosen appearance theme, and an anonymous visit counter. We do NOT use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or data-broker beacons.
5. Third-Party AI Services & Data Transmission
To provide accurate audio transcription and generate structured notes, AutoScribe securely transmits your recorded audio, voice data, and manual text inputs to vetted third-party AI services provided by Microsoft Azure OpenAI. This data is collected solely when you initiate a recording or text processing action. We require your explicit permission in the app before any data is sent. These third-party services provide equal or superior data protection standards, including AES-256 encryption, and are contractually prohibited from using your data to train their foundation models.
